Explore our premium extrusion materials tailored for rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and rugged functional parts in Spain and the European Union.
Accelerating digital tooling, serial production, and outdoor mechanical performance across Spain's leading industrial ecosystems.
Spain has established itself as one of Southern Europe's primary hubs for advanced additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0 integration, and smart polymer engineering. Major industrial clusters situated in Catalonia (Barcelona and Martorell), the Basque Country (Bilbao and San Sebastián), Madrid, Valencia, and Andalusia are rapidly transitioning from legacy prototyping toward high-throughput functional manufacturing.
Within this rigorous industrial landscape, Black ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) filament has emerged as the premier thermoplastic of choice. While standard polymers like PLA and traditional ABS often degrade, warp, or discolor under harsh outdoor conditions, Black ASA is formulated with an acrylic ester elastomer matrix that provides unparalleled weathering performance, long-term UV radiation resistance, and exceptional impact retention.
As a leading Black ASA filament manufacturer and supplier serving enterprises throughout Spain, we deliver consistent batch-to-batch chemical integrity, precision extrusion diameters (+/-0.02mm), and customized bulk packaging designed specifically for industrial FDM/FFF production facilities.
Engineered with saturated acrylic rubber chains that prevent micro-cracking and chalking under severe Mediterranean sunlight and high UV-index exposure across Andalusia and Central Spain.
Maintains structural dimensional stability under intense ambient heat, making it suitable for automotive engine bay cowlings, outdoor solar junction brackets, and industrial housings.
Deep black carbon dispersion offers a sophisticated matte appearance that minimizes visible layer lines, eliminating the need for post-production sanding or painting on client-facing end-use components.
Meeting the demanding standards of Spanish automotive assembly plants, solar energy farms, coastal infrastructure, and smart telecommunications.
Spain stands as the second-largest vehicle manufacturer in Europe. Tier-1 automotive suppliers in Martorell, Vigo, Zaragoza, and Almussafes utilize Torwell Black ASA filament for exterior mirror brackets, aerodynamic air intake vents, windshield wiper linkages, and customized assembly jigs.
Unlike standard ABS which becomes brittle under constant solar radiation, Black ASA retains over 90% of its initial impact resistance even after thousands of hours of outdoor climatic cycles.
Spain is a global pioneer in utility-scale photovoltaic energy. In high-irradiance solar installations across Seville, Cordoba, and Badajoz, engineering teams deploy 3D printed Black ASA cable guides, sensor brackets, monitoring enclosures, and inverter protection caps. The chemical resistance against hydrocarbons and ambient environmental acids ensures an extended operational lifecycle in extreme desert-like heat.
From the superyacht marinas of Barcelona and Valencia to the naval shipyards of Cádiz and Ferrol, maritime equipment requires materials impervious to salt-fog corrosion and water absorption. Torwell Black ASA boasts an exceptionally low water absorption rate (

Every spool produced at Torwell complies with international safety, dimensional consistency, and material purity mandates.
The factory area has passed ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system certification. Every new employee must be experienced one week of safety production knowledge teaching and two weeks of produce skills training, and master every course in the production process. Who is in the position will be responsible for its duty.
PLA is the most preferred material for 3D printing, Torwell firstly chooses PLA from US NatureWorks, and Total-Corbion is the alternative. ABS from TaiWan ChiMei, PETG from South Korea SK. Each batch of main raw materials comes from the partners who has cooperated more than 5 years to ensure the reliability of the products from the source. Each batch of raw materials will undergo parameters inspection before produce to ensure that raw materials are original and virginal.
The manufacturing workshop will make arrangements after the inspection of raw materials, at least two engineers cross-check the clearance of mixing tank, color mixed of material, humidity from hopper dryer, temperature of extruder, hot/cool tank, and trial-produce and debugging the produce line to make sure all of processes in the best condition. Maintain the filament Diameter tolerance +/- 0.02mm, Roundness tolerance +/- 0.02mm.
After each batch of 3D filament is produced, two quality inspectors will conduct random inspections on each batch of finished products in accordance with the requirements of the standard, such as diameter tolerance, color consistency, strength and toughness and so on. After vacuuming the package, place them for 24 hours to check whether there is any leaking package, then label it and finish the package.
Reliable bulk inventory, rapid continental logistics, and customized compounding for distributors, printing farms, and industrial buyers.
Optimized logistics routing supporting rapid pallet and container shipments to Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, Zaragoza, and Vigo with complete customs compliance.
Offering specialized masterbatch color-matching, custom spool weights (1kg, 2.5kg, 5kg industrial spools), cardboard spool options, private-label branding, and custom packaging boxes.
All Black ASA and engineering filaments are 100% compliant with EU environmental directives, ensuring zero hazardous substances and complete traceability for Spanish industrial clients.
Expert guidance on processing parameters, bed adhesion, and long-term performance.
Standard ABS contains polybutadiene rubber, which features double carbon bonds susceptible to photo-oxidation and degradation under ultraviolet (UV) sunlight. Black ASA replaces butadiene with saturated acrylic ester rubber, which resists solar UV breakdown entirely. This prevents brittleness, micro-fissures, and surface chalking, making Black ASA the superior choice under Spain's high solar irradiation.
For optimum interlayer cohesion, we recommend an extrusion temperature of 240°C to 260°C, a heated bed temperature between 90°C and 110°C, and minimal or turned-off cooling fan speeds (0-20%). Utilizing an enclosed chamber prevents thermal drafts and eliminates corner warping on larger parts.
Yes, ASA polymers are soluble in acetone. 3D printed Black ASA models can undergo chemical vapor smoothing to achieve an injection-molded, ultra-smooth surface finish, sealed against water penetration and aerodynamic drag.
We supply both 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameters with an automated dual-axis laser diameter tolerance maintained within +/- 0.02mm. Spool sizes range from standard 1kg reels for rapid prototyping to 2.5kg, 5kg, and master-batch spools for large-format industrial 3D printers.
Each spool is dried immediately after extrusion, packed with premium desiccant, vacuum-sealed in high-barrier hermetic foil packaging, and subjected to a 24-hour vacuum retention test before boxing to ensure zero moisture contamination upon arrival.
