    PETG filament color (2)

Every colored filament we manufacture is formulated according to a standard color system such as the Pantone Color Matching System. This is important in order to ensure consistent color shade with every batch as well as allowing us to produce specialty colors such as Multicolor and Custom colors.

The picture shown is a representation of the item, color may vary slightly due to the color setting of each individual monitor. Please double check the size and color before purchasin

    Package

Torwell PETG Filament comes in a sealed vacuum bag with desiccant bag, easily keep your 3D printer filament at an optimal storage condition and free from dust or dirt.

    package

1kg roll PETG filament with desiccant in vaccum package.
Each spool in individual box (Torwell box, Neutral box, or Customized box avilable).
8boxes per carton (carton size 44x44x19cm).

    How to Storage

    1. If you are going to leave your printer inactive for more than a couple of days, please retract the filament to protect your printer nozzle.

    2. In order to extend the life of your filament, please place the unsealing filament back to original vacuum bag and stock it in a cool and dry place after print.

    3. When storing your filament, please feed the loose end through the holes on the edge of the filament reel to avoid winding, so that it feeds properly when you use it next time.

    FAQ

1.Q: Is the material going out smoothly when printing ? Will it be tangled ?

A: the material is made with fully automated equipment, and the machine automatically winds the wire. generally, there will be no winding problems.

2.Q: Are there bubbles in the material ?

A: our material will be baked before production to prevent the formation of bubbles .

3.Q: what is the wire diameters and how many colors are there ?

A: the wire diameter is 1.75mm and 3mm, there are 15 colors, and also can do customize color you want if there are big order.

4.Q: how to pack the materials during transportation?

A: we will vacuum process the materials to place the consumables to be damp, and then put them in the carton box to protection damage during transportation.

5.Q: How about the quality of the raw material ?

A: we use high quality raw materials for processing and production, we not use recycled material, nozzle materials and secondary processing material, and the quality is guaranteed.

6.Q: Can you send products to my country?

A: yes, we do business in every corner of the world , please contact us for detailed delivery charges.

Once you’ve mastered the basics for printing with PETG, you will find it to be easy to print with and comes out great in a wide temperature range. It’s great even for large flat prints due to its very low shrinkage. Combination of strength, low shrinkage, smoother finish and higher heat resistance make PETG an ideal everyday alternative to PLA and ABS.

Other features include great layer adhesion, chemical resistance including acids and water. Torwell PETG filament is characterized by consistent quality, high dimensional accuracy and has been extensively tested on a variety of printers; yielding very strong and precise prints.

    Recommended Build Surfaces

Glass with glue, Masking paper, Blue Tape, BuilTak, PEI

    • You can also experiment between 230°C – 250°C until ideal print quality is achieved. 240°C is generally a good starting point.
    • If parts seem to be weak, increase the printing temperature. PETG achieves maximum strength at around 250°C
    • Layer cooling fan depend on the model being printed. Large models do not generally require cooling but parts/area with short layer times (small details, tall and thin, etc.) may need some cooling, about 15% is usually enough, for extreme overhangs you can go up to a maximum of 50%.
    • Set your print bed temperature to approximately 75°C +/- 10 (hotter for the first few layers if possible). Use glue stick for optimal bed adhesion.
    • PETG doesn’t need to be squeezed onto your heated bed, you want to leave a slightly larger gap on the Z axis to allow more room for the plastic to lay down. If the extruder nozzle is too close to the bed, or previous layer it will skim and create stringing and build-up around your nozzle. We recommend starting off moving your nozzle away from the bed in 0.02mm increments, until there is no skimming when printing.
    • Print on glass with glue stick or you favorite printing surface.
    • Best practice before printing any PETG material is to dry it before using (even if new), dry at 65°C for at least 4 hours. If possible, dry for 6-12 hours. Dried PETG should last for about 1-2 weeks before needing to redry.
    • If print is too stringy, also try under-extruding a bit. PETG can be sensitive to over extrusion (blobbing etc.) – if you’re experience this, just bring in the extrusion setting on the slicer ever-so-slightly each time until it stops.
    • No raft. (if the print bed is not heated, consider using brim instead, 5 or more mm wide.)
    • 30-60mm/s print speed
