The printing settings for Silk PLA Filament are similar to those for traditional PLA. The recommended printing temperature is between 190-230°C, with a bed temperature between 45-65°C. The optimal printing speed is around 40-80 mm/s, and the layer height should be between 0.1-0.2mm. However, it is important to note that these settings may vary depending on the specific 3D printer being used, and it is recommended to adjust the settings according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
To achieve the best results with silk PLA printing filament, it is recommended to use a nozzle with a diameter of 0.4 mm or smaller. A smaller nozzle diameter helps in achieving fine details and better surface quality. Additionally, it is recommended to use a cooling fan during the printing process to prevent warping and improve the overall print quality.
